The purpose of this Site is perpetuation of Waganakising Anishnaabemowin (Odawa language), culture, and traditions. Please keep in mind that this is what I've been taught and in no way diminishes anyone else's teachings. I often use I, we, and they in my text these references are to those who I know believe the same as I do. I am not claiming to represent any particular group of people that may have different beliefs even within my own Tribe. Although this site represents some of our traditions and cultural activities it is by no means a complete representation of who we are. Our culture is alive, changes and grows everyday. Our culture is our language, the way we talk and interact with each other, the way we react to social situations, the way we worship and the way we survive in two worlds. I hope this information is helpful for you. I will be adding more pages over the next few weeks. I just moved the server to my home for unlimited space and easier service.
